Smitten At The Cat

Friday, August 12 saw Jim & Kim Rhindress playing a 2-hour acoustic music set at The Marmalade Cat Cafe in the lower Mission in Kelowna. Jim played guitar and Kim played acoustic bass.

A packed house sat back and enjoyed the music as we walked them through our evolution as a musical couple - starting with Jim's roots in classic rock and Kim's foundation of jazz and musical theatre.

Our set list was varied to say the least:

- Saw Her Standing There (The Beatles)

- The Joker (Steve Miller Band)

- All of Me (John Legend)

- Summertime (Jazz)

- Jolene (Dolly Parton)

- Everyday (Buddy Holly)

- Take Me As I Am (Ingrid Michaelson)

We even did a few 1950s and 60s songs with tracks and we performed our original song written for our son's wedding, ending with John Lennon's Imagine.

It was loads of fun and we can't wait to perform another concert together!
